Royal Bridge College (RBCo) offers its students in the Diploma in Hospitality Management with a co-op program an exciting new pathway to a Bachelor of Hospitality Management Degree at Vancouver Community College (VCC).

VCC agrees to facilitate the block transfer of students from Royal Bridge College with appropriate prerequisite qualifications into the third year of the Bachelor of Hospitality Management at VCC. Students from Royal Bridge College who meet the requirements outlined will be eligible for admission to VCC with full block transfer, provided all other entrance criteria are met (per the program admission requirements on the VCC website with the exception of the English proficiency requirement) and space remains available in the Bachelor of Hospitality Management Degree program.

Program Requirements

Hospitality Management with co-op Diploma at Royal Bridge College

  • Be at least 17 years of age
  • Have graduated from high school (19 years of age applying as a matures student)
  • Provide proof of English proficiency
    • Grade 12 or higher-level English course. 
    • High School English 12: C from an English-speaking country. 
    • University or College level English course (non-ESL): C from an institution where English is the language of instruction. 
    • English Language Test (only valid for two years): IELTS: Academic with no band test score less than 5.5 or equivalent
    • RBCo English Placement Exam: 75%

Bachelor of Hospitality Management Degree at Vancouver Community College

  • Successfully graduate from Royal Bridge College Hospitality Management with co-op Diploma program
  • With a GPA of no less than 2.5/4.33
  • RBCo DHM graduates directly enter VCC Semester 5 with no extra English proficiency requirements
